What is DAN?
DAN (Dental Access Network) routes genuine emergency patients to dental practices digitally. Practices control intake and respond to cases without inbound phone traffic.
Do we need to change our workflows or software?
No. DAN is designed to fit around your existing process. Cases arrive digitally and you respond in a few clicks.
How do we control volume so we're not overwhelmed?
Use the Accepting Emergencies toggle to pause or resume intake. If you're busy, switch intake off.
Do we have to accept every case?
No. You choose whether to offer an appointment based on suitability and capacity.
What do we see before offering an appointment?
You'll see the patient's emergency description and relevant case details. After booking is confirmed, preparation forms are visible in DAN.
How do bookings get confirmed?
Your practice offers a time slot and the patient confirms in-app. Once confirmed, the appointment is treated as booked.
How do payments work?
Patients pay a booking fee to confirm the appointment. Treatment fees are set by the practice and collected by the practice.
Do we set our own fees?
Yes. You set your own treatment fees and collect your own charges directly from the patient.
Is there marketing or admin overhead?
